• CHECK IN IS BETWEEN 8:00-8:30 (ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 8:30).• SHOTGUN START 9:00• Check in with Ed Brezinsky / Jose Roque. • Outing Format: 18 hole - 2 man team scramble.• Lunch and awards. There will be Handicapped team skins at this event this year.
18 Hole - 2 man team Scramble Rules.Record your actual team score on the scorecard.Double par is the maximum number of strokes for all holes.• 2 man teams were made up by as close to a low/ high overall average A/B flight from the regular season (approx. week #15). There may be some teams that get handicap, depending on team averages. HDCP= 80% of the difference between your team average and the lowest team average divided by 2.• Everyone will tee off the White TEES. Anyone over 70 years old can tee off the forward or Red tees.• Teams must use 1 drive for each member at least once per nine holes. • Every team member gets two mulligans only off the tee of their choice per nine.If you declare the mulligan, you must play and count that mulligan. You don’t get a choice between your first shot and the mulligan.• Closest to the pin winners must be on the green. Long drive winners must be in the fairway.• There are no Gimmie puts allowed when putting for Eagle, Birdie or Par.• Bogie or above gimmie putts are allowed within the leather of you putter and the gimmie is counted.We are playing “winter rules” - you may improve your lie within 1 sq. foot. You cannot improve your lie to get yourself away from or out of a hazard. You would have to take a drop and a stroke, along the line of flight, no closer to the hole. You do get relief (no penalty) if you are close to or up against a manmade object, ball washer, bench, on the cart path etc. Against a fence on the course side, you get 2 club lengths relief, no penalty.
OUT OF BOUNDS – If you hit the ball out of bounds, it is 1 stroke and distance along the line of flight.
Lunch after scramble. Choice of Burger or Chicken (remember what you previously ordered), baked beans, fries, soft drink.• Awards for prize holes.• Team skins• Scramble- First, Second and Third Place Awards.
Cash prizes won from the prize holes (closest to the pins and long drive) should be discussed with your teammate before tee off. It's up to the decision of the team weather or not to split any or all of any cash. Team skins and Scramble (1st.2nd.3rd place) should be split between members of your team.
Remember this is a fun event. Have fun, be kind to everybody; your team, the course and employees of the course.
